My husband and I met Janet Baker when we lived near Dallas and instantly were taken with her passion for design, eye for color and texture and mostly how she “got” us!  After she spent some time in our home further understanding our style and our decorating faux pas she “made over” one or two rooms at a time each year until the entire house was updated and a place we were proud to call our home.   A few years ago, when we retired to Virginia and listed our Texas home for sale, we had multiple offers the first weekend (selling significantly above the asking price) and with many of the potential buyers mentioning that the house looked like a model home.  These comments and ultimate sale of our home were a direct correlation to Janet’s creative and loving touches.  

After purchasing our home in Virginia, we contracted with Janet to help choose wall colors, order furniture and then flew her to Virginia to personally supervise the placement of the various pieces of beautiful art she had previously chosen for our Texas home.  Our brother and his wife visited our new Virginia home and immediately recognized and commented on our taste in furniture based on the Barcelona Chairs Janet had chosen for our family room.  During visits from family and friends, we are typically asked where we purchased a piece of art or furniture which allows us to share the many positive stories about Janet and her unbelievable talent.  

When she firmly suggests that something is needed to make a project “right”, don’t hesitate because she speaks the truth and will save you and/or make you money in the end.  We have made a lifelong friend in Janet Baker and we highly recommend her for both your interior and exterior remodeling projects.
